Our native Spanish teachers speak the language throughout the day and mainly at circle times . The children's first introduction to the new language is via commands which reinforce daily routines. For example: tuck in your chair, wash your hands, put your work away.
How will my child understand what is happening in class?
Children will learn Spanish the same way they learn their first language. Teachers will use songs, facial gestures, hand and body signals, and games. This teaching method is known as Total Physical Response.
